An investigation by New York State Police detectives in Wappingers, in conjunction with the Troop K - which includes Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester counties - determined that Accord resident Paul Vanleuven, 27, allegedly patronized a prostitute.

Vanleuven was arrested last week and charged with third-degree patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor. After appearing in court, Vanleuven was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Fishkill Court on July 30.
